Review & Giveaway: Hat Trick by Eden Finley

Hiyya! I’m a bit late with this review, but I had an impromptu visit home, which meant flying and then meeting family…but now here it is, my gushing about Soren and Jet.

You know what’s not fun? Going on a Fiji vacation with four other couples.

Especially when recently single.

What’s even worse is when a past hook-up arrives unannounced.

Not only do we have a history, but he’s ten years younger and a famous rock star. Most importantly, he’s my friend’s little brother.

Being trapped on an island with Jet Jackson is going to be sweet torture because all I want is another chance.

I just don’t think he’s going to give it to me.

You know what’s not fun? Escaping one guy who broke my heart only to run into another.

Being on the road for three years has left me exhausted. The last thing I want is for Caleb ‘Soren’ Sorensen to try for round two.

I can’t fight my draw to him. I’ve never been able to.

I’m suddenly back to being the naïve kid who stupidly lusted after a hockey player.

All I can think is if I let Soren get close, I’ll walk away from this vacation with a double broken heart.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I have discovered Eden Finley’s books through an author recommending her works and freebie on Amazon. Five books later, I have turned into a huge fan, and Caleb Sorensen, aka Soren, and Jethro Jackson were a perfect ending for the series.

The book features all the favourites, from Maddox and Damon, to Noah and Matt (obviously, Jet is their younger brother), Lennon and Ollie (<3) and even Talon and Miller! I adored the fact that all the guys were in one place for at least a part of the story.

I have adored Jet since the moment he has appeared in the series. Hyperactive, sarcastic little shit who could give Noah a run for his money, but also scarred and scared little kid who went to look for support from his older brother. And Soren’s coming out in previous books and then … I can just keep on gushing.

Soren and Jet hooked up years ago, but it turned out not to end as much more. Years later, they meet again in Fiji where all the guys are on the vacation. The “let’s just do it for now” is hilarious, because we all know where that will lead.

My favourite part was how Soren was always prepared to be there for Jet, even when that meant to go with him on tour for 6 weeks, when he was still on vacation. But he didn’t stay in Fiji, he went with Jet, and that melted my heart ❤

Soren and Jet are a perfect match, both sweet and caring but not taking shit. I loved the ending. I know I said “I loved it” in the review, but I genuinely adore the book in general and might have read it once…or three times ❤

About the Author

Eden Finley is an Amazon bestselling author who writes steamy contemporary romances that are full of snark and light-hearted fluff. She doesn’t take anything too seriously and lives to create an escape from real life for her readers. The ideas always begin with a wackadoodle premise, and she does her best to turn them into romances with heart. With a short attention span that rivals her son’s, she writes multiple different pairings: MM, MMF, and MF. She’s also an Australian girl and apologises for her Australianisms that sometimes don’t make sense to anyone else.
